LIC AAO 2016 Cut-Off Marks Released

Overview:  Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) had organized On-line written examination for 700 Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) posts. The online Examination was held on 5th March 2016, 6th March 2016, 12th March 2016 & 13th March 2016. Personal Interview was held in April/May 2016. Around 2000 candidates had qualified the online tests and were called for interview sessions. LIC released the list of final selected candidates last week.
Now, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has published the details of marks obtained by the candidate of the LIC Assistant Administrative Officer (Generalist) 2016.
LIC AAO 2016 Exam Details of Score:

Maximum Standard Score 90 60 90 60 40 300

Note:  English Language paper is of qualifying nature, hence the marks obtained in English Language are not considered for total weighted score.

*cut off depends on the category of the candidate

If a candidate is qualified in all sections of online examination and his total weighted score in online examination (excluding English language) is equal to or more than the cut off given above, then the candidate has been called for the interview.

In case of similar marks of two or more candidates, the merit order of such group of candidates shall be as per the aggregate marks in online examination and interview and further as per their additional post graduation qualification (i.e. the person with higher educational qualification will be placed higher in the merit order) and in case of further similarity in educational qualification merit order will be decided on the basis of age, (i.e. senior in age will be placed higher in merit order).
