i have the doubt in the cut-off marks have for each section or general cut-off .

    • Naveen Sachdeva // June 8, 2015 at 6:50 am // Reply

      Krishnaraj,

Cut-off will be decided later by SBI. Cut off marks will be different for General and rest of the reserved categories. SBI PO Cut off can be defined as the minimum marks needed to be eligible for next round of selection for the post of probationary officer. If a candidate scores marks equal to or more than the cutoff, he/she will be considered valid for personal interview and group discussion.

Below are the factors that will be considered while preparing the SBI PO Prelims 2015 Cut-Off’s —

Number of candidates appeared in the Exam
      Exam difficulty level
      Pass percentile
      Number of seats/posts
      Reservation norms

From a student point of view, we will advise to do as much questions CORRECTLY in the Exam keeping in mind that he/she has to qualify in each of the three sections by securing passing marks. Adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by the Bank (approximately 20 times the numbers of vacancies subject to availability) will be short listed for the Main Examination.
