IBPS CWE SO-V 2016 Exam Analysis –>

Overview:  IBPS has successfully conducted the On-line Examination for the recruitment of Specialist Officer Post across the country on 14th of February 2016. Lakhs of candidates were successfully attended this examination at various examination centres in India. The Online Examination was conducted in two slots in a day i.e. total of 2 sessions.

IBPS SO Exam section-wise Analysis:

The IBPS SO Exam 2016 consisted of 200 questions, to be solved in 120 minutes (2 hours). The total time is 2 hours, so clearly speed, accuracy and planning were needed to do well in the exam. The Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language & Professional Knowledge sections consists of 50 questions in each section Each question has 5 options. The Exam also comprised of negative marking i.e., for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks would be deducted.

English Language –>

English Paper which is the most scoring part and deciding paper appeared to be little-bit difficult. Questions appeared from Reading Comprehension; fill up the blanks, Para jumbles, cloze test, and errors part.

Quantitative Aptitude (Moderate but Calculative) –>

Quantitative Aptitude part appeared to be calculative as compared to other sections. This paper killed the aspirant’s patience with lengthy and tricky questions. This is the most time consuming section for the students.

The reasoning section seems to be easy in both the slots.

Most of the Questions were covered from DBMS, Networking and Software Engineering, OSI model and UNIX. Other topics from which questions were asked are – Data structure, Programming Language, Operating System.

IBPS SO Overall Exam Analysis:

After going through the analysis of both the slots, we clearly saw that paper level in both the exams were moderate. The overall exam was moderate. The Reasoning section was bit easy compared to other. Mathematics section was again moderate and calculative and is the most time consuming section among all. The section of English Language was little bit difficult in difficulty level.
