About : National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) is a research institute of CSIR in Lucknow. It is engaged in the field of taxonomy and modern biology. Originally conceptualized and set up as the National Botanic Gardens (NBG) by Professor Kailas Nath Kaul on behalf of the State Government of Uttar Pradesh, it was taken over by the CSIR in 1953.
Vacancy Details: Project Assitant
1st class M.Sc. in Botany/Bioinformatics /Information Technology/ Biotechnology or 1st class B.Tech in Computer
Science/Bioinformatics or 1st class MCA and should have completed at least 2 years post M.Sc./B.Tech/MCA
experience in database (Preferable plant database).
Rs.12000/-p.m. /Rs.8000/-p.m./ Rs.12000+HRA
Through Interview. However, if large number of candidates turn up, a Screening test comprising of multiple choice objective questions will be held for short listing the candidates for interview. The short listed candidates will be interviewed by the Selection Committee and, based on the performance in the interview, a panel of recommended candidates will be formed. The panel shall be utilized as and when the requirement arises in the projects in the relevant field/area. Candidates have the option to interact in Hindi/English before the committee. In case of turning up of large no. of candidates, interview may continue for next day.
